Napoleon cake is a beloved dessert with many different names worldwide. In France, a Napoleon is a Mille-Feuille, while in countries that originate from the British Commonwealth, it is known as Vanilla Slice, Cream Slice, or Custard Slice. We make our Napoleon cake with many thin layers of alternating puff pastry, boiled milk cream and a layer of sweet-sour blackcurrant jam.
Plain Napoleon (without jam) is also available.
